until all cases have been heard.

HIGHWAY 50 ROAD CONSTRUCTION
April 22 thru mid-October 2013
Traffic is now one lane in each direction on the eastbound side of the roadway. The median openings have been closed and residents and motorists should use the nearest side road to get to their driveway or place of business. The roadway will remain like this so that crews can construct the right turn lanes at the intersection, left turn lanes in the median openings and reconstruct a section from Knollwood Dr. to S. Como Road. This stage of construction is expected to last until mid-July when traffic will be switched to the westbound lanes of travel. Construction is expected to last until mid-October. The Town of Geneva is seeking applications from interested residents for appointment to various committees/commissions. These include the Plan Commission, Police Commission, Park Commission, Lake Committee, Election Inspectors, and the Lake Como Sanitary District Board (must reside within the sanitary district). The Town of Geneva Park Commission is looking for volunteers to help the community by cleaning up and redefining some of our park areas this Spring. Work days are on a Saturday morning, or early evening as the weather improves. We will be removing a boardwalk and laying gravel, planting trees, cleaning up winter debris, outlining trails, etc. Please watch this website for scheduled work days or call Lynn at (262) 248-9035 to sign up for a couple of fun hours.
