SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

SEPTEMBER 28, 2006

Chairman Kopecky called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.  In attendance were Kopecky, Supervisors Van Lue, McLernon, Loomer, Cramer, and Chief Gritzner.  Clerk/Treasurer Kirch took the minutes of the meeting.

Motion (Cramer/Loomer) to move to closed session pursuant to Sec. 19.85 (1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the Town of Geneva has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.  Approved 5-0.  Motion (Van Lue/ McLernon) to return to open session.  Approved 5-0.  Kopecky announced the following action:  Motion (Van Lue/McLernon) to waive the 20/20 correctable vision requirement as advertised for the Sergeant position and authorize Gritzner to proceed with background checks and fitness for duty physicals for two applicants, Jim Bushey and Jeff DeMeyers.  Approved 5-0.

Motion (McLernon/Loomer) to adjourn at 8:30 p.m.  Approved 5-0.
