January 1, 2009 No. 115 Adopting Town of Geneva Land Use Plan

TOWN OF GENEVA

RESOLUTION NO. 115

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TOWN OF GENEVA LAND USE PLAN

WHEREAS, the Town of Geneva, pursuant to the provisions of Section 60.10(2)(c) of the Wisconsin Statutes, has been authorized to exercise Village powers; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Geneva, pursuant to the provisions of Section 62.23 of the Wisconsin Statutes, has created a Town Plan Commission; and

WHEREAS, the Town Plan Commission has prepared, with the assistance of the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, a plan for the physical development of the Town of Geneva, said plan embodied in SEWRPC Community Assistance Planning Report No. 211, A Land Use Plan for the Town of Geneva: 2010; and

WHEREAS, the Town Plan Commission, on the 29th day of September, 1997, did adopt SEWRPC Community Assistance Planning Report No. 211 and has submitted a certified copy of that Resolution to the Town Board of the Town of Geneva; and

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Geneva concurs with the Town Plan Commission and the objectives and recommendations set forth in SEWRPC Community Assistance Planning Report No. 211.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Geneva, on the 13th day of October, 1997 hereby adopts the Land Use Plan for the Town of Geneva.
