TOWN OF GENEVA

SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

SEPTEMBER 18, 2006

Chairman Kopecky called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. In attendance were Kopecky, Supervisors Van Lue, Loomer, Cramer, Attorney Torhorst, and Chief Gritzner. Supervisor McLernon was excused. Clerk/Treasurer Kirch took the minutes of the meeting.

Motion (Van Lue/Loomer) to move to closed session pursuant to Sec. 19.85 (1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the Town of Geneva has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Approved 4-0. Motion (Loomer/ Cramer) to return to open session. Approved 4-0. Kopecky announced the following action: Motion (Loomer/Cramer) to authorize Kopecky and Gritzner to do further investigation and if nothing negative shows up, they are authorized to negotiate a compensation package with the applicant and bring that back to the Board for approval. Approved 4-0.

Motion (Van Lue/Loomer) to adjourn at 7:55 p.m. Approved 4-0.
