SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

MARCH 26, 2007

Chairman Kopecky called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. In attendance were Kopecky, Supervisors Van Lue, McLernon, Loomer, Cramer, and Attorney Torhorst. Clerk/Treasurer Kirch took the minutes of the meeting.

Robert Cramer was the only individual who requested to be considered to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Debra Kirch from the Lake Como Sanitary District Board until yesterday. Received a request for consideration from Lynn Bird. Kopecky asked if anyone else would care to be considered. There was no response. Mr. Bird and Mr. Cramer both presented their background and qualifications. Need for creative thinking and strategic planning. President Van Lue’s term expires May 1, 2007. He has made no plans yet on his future status with the District.

Motion (McLernon/Van Lue) to appoint Lynn Bird to fill the vacancy on the Lake Como Sanitary District Board created by the resignation of Debra Kirch. Term to expire May 1, 2009. Denied 3-2.

Yea – 2 Nay – 3 (Loomer, Kopecky, Cramer).

Motion (Loomer/Kopecky) to appoint Bob Cramer to fill the remaining term on the Lake Como Sanitary District Board until May 1, 2009 created by the resignation of Debra Kirch. Approved 3-2.

Yea – 3 Nay – 2 (Van Lue, McLernon).

Motion (McLernon/Loomer) to adjourn at 7:00 p.m. Approved 5-0.
