PUBLIC HEARING AND
BUDGET APPROVAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 18, 2009
Chairman Lauderdale called the duly posted and noticed meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. In addition to Lauderdale, in attendance were Supervisors Fahey and Kamps, Pat Romenesko and Administrator Downing. Supervisors Millard and Kukla were excused. Clerk/Treasurer Kirch took the minutes of the meeting.
Motion (Kamps/Fahey) to open the public hearing on the 2010 proposed budget. Approved 3-0. Questions were answered from those in attendance. Romenesko gave a brief overview of the budget and levy limits. Lauderdale would like amendment to add the reflective fire number signs to all improved properties. Cost of approximately $30.81 would be a one-time special charge put on the tax bills. Non-represented employees will receive a 2.5% increase. Motion (Kamps/Fahey) to close the public hearing. Approved 3-0. Motion (Kamps/Fahey) to approve the Town of Geneva 2010 budget with the amendment of a $92,430 one-time charge to be put on the tax bills for fire numbers to be installed. Approved 3-0.
Motion (Kamps/Lauderdale) to adjourn at 6:23 p.m. Approved 3-0.
