TOWN OF GENEVA

SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

APRIL 1, 2010

Chairman Lauderdale called the duly posted and noticed meeting to order at 4:03 p.m. In attendance were Lauderdale, Supervisors Fahey, Kukla, Millard, Attorney Harvey, and Administrator Downing. Supervisor Kamps was excused. Clerk/Treasurer Kirch took the minutes of the meeting.

Motion (Kukla/Millard) to move to closed session pursuant to Sec. 19.85 (1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. Approved 4-0. Motion (Kukla/Fahey) to return to open session at 5:24 p.m. Approved 4-0. Lauderdale announced that no action was taken in the closed session. Discussed strategies and have consulted with legal counsel regarding deliberating or negotiating on purchasing public properties.

Motion (Lauderdale/Kukla) to adjourn at 5:26 p.m. Approved 4‑0.
